My passion for lighting and antiques began with fond memories of exploring early 20th-century lamps in my grandmother’s basement. This early fascination, combined with a lifelong love for design and technology, led me to found Deco Trove in 2021. What started as a passion project quickly grew into a business dedicated to restoring Art Deco and Streamline Moderne lighting, bringing these timeless designs back to life.

Inspired by my grandfather, a lifelong electrician, I developed a curiosity about how things are built and how they can be improved. With a degree in Graphic Communications and a background in media, design, and web development, I bring a unique blend of creative and technical expertise to my work in antique restoration. My attention to detail and craftsmanship ensures each piece is carefully restored, preserving its original beauty while breathing new life into it.

This passion for blending history and innovation led to the creation of ART LITE mini™, a line of miniature 3D-printed lamps inspired by iconic lighting designs of the 1920s–1940s. By utilizing modern fabrication techniques, I aim to make these extraordinary designs more accessible to collectors, enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates timeless style.

My passion for this era (1920s-1940s) began in childhood, sparked by the striking visuals of classic Hollywood cinema. Watching The Wizard of Oz, I was mesmerized by the towering spires of the Emerald City and the geometric grandeur of the Wizard’s throne room. That early fascination grew into a lifelong love for the sleek lines, rich materials, and meticulous craftsmanship that define Streamline Moderne and Art Deco design.

With a background in film, visual storytelling, and marketing, I bring a strategic approach to Deco Trove—ensuring our brand not only preserves the past but reintroduces it to a modern audience. Through restoration and design, I aim to evoke the same wonder that first inspired me, whether through meticulously restored antiques or the ART LITE mini™ collection, which reimagines iconic lighting designs in a fresh, accessible way.
